This is a result of continuous corporate investments in technology, automation, and production processes, in addition to best practices and forestry operations. Brazil is home to a significant number of state-of-the-art companies that have built versatile and modern industrial facilities for the installation of new units, updated existing facilities, as well as implemented continuous production lines and new processes for printing, impregnation, coating, and painting.
There are many types of reconstituted panels with specific applications:

- MDF – Medium Density Fiberboard
- HDF – High Density Fiberboard
- Hardboard
In order to ensure the quality, performance, and durability of wood panels sold in Brazil, Ibá maintains a sector-wide program for MDF and MDP quality which has been recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Cities.
